Providing flexibility & peace of mind

Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes travel plans change, and we are committed to being as flexible as possible with our cancellation policy. Our standard policy allows for cancellations up to 15 days before your scheduled arrival date with a full refund of any deposit or pre-payment made. Any cancellation within the 14 day window will not be refunded, but we will allow booking date changes up to 7 days before checkin.  The new booking dates must be within six months of the original booking.

 

We recognize that unforeseen circumstances such as flight cancellations may arise that are out of your control. In the event of a flight cancellation that impacts your ability to arrive at the hotel as scheduled, we will allow for a hotel credit to be issued to you in lieu of a refund, provided that you inform us of the cancellation within 48 hours of the cancellation. The hotel credit can be used towards a future stay at our hotel within 6 months of the date of issue.  The booking can also be transferred to another person to use within 6 months of the date of issue.

 

To request a cancellation or to notify us of a flight cancellation, please contact our reservations team via phone or email as soon as possible. Please be prepared to provide documentation of your flight cancellation to help us process your request quickly.  We also monitor flight status for flights going in and out of Skardu, so will get updates on the local flight status.

 

In the event of a flight cancellation on your check-out day, we will try our best to accommodate you at Khoj should you desire to stay additional nights, but this will be entirely dependent on availability.

Group Bookings:

​

In case of flight cancellations or landslides for reservations of more than 5 but less than 15 rooms, 30% of the payment will be nonrefundable.  The rest of the payment will be issued as a credit that can be used by any group member, friend, or family within 6 months.

In case of flight cancellations or landslides for reservations of 15 rooms or more, 50% of the payment will be nonrefundable.  The rest of the payment will be issued as a credit that can be used by any group member, friend, or family within 6 months.

 

We hope that this policy provides peace of mind and flexibility for our guests, and we look forward to welcoming you to Khoj in the future.

Guest Policies

 In order to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible, we have established the following guest policy:

 

Check-In and Check-Out: Check-in time is 2:00 PM, and check-out time is 11:00 AM.  We will try to accommodate requests for early check-in or late check-out, but if it is not possible, guests may use our public facilities while waiting. If a guest fails to vacate the room in a timely manner, management will have the right to remove the guest and his/her belongings from the room.

 

Identification: All guests are required by law to provide valid identification upon check-in. We accept government-issued identification, such as a passport, ID, NICOP, or Temporary Residence Card.  

 

Room Occupancy: The base occupancy for all rooms is 2 persons. The maximum occupancy per room varies by room type, but an extra charge will be applied for any additional guests beyond the base occupancy, including children ages 10 and above.  The extra charge will include complimentary breakfast.

 

Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited in all guest rooms.  Guests are free to smoke outside. A cleaning fee will be charged for guests who violate this policy.

 

Damage to Property: Guests will be held responsible for any damages to the hotel property caused by them or their guests. Any costs associated with the repair or replacement of damaged property will be charged to the guest's credit card.

 

Missing Items:  Hotel items that are not marked as complimentary are for guests to use during their stay.  If the guest removes these items from the property, either accidentally or intentionally, they will be charged a replacement cost for each item.  A rate list for items is available at the front desk.

Internet:  We provide free high-speed 10 MB/s dedicated internet in our Villas.  However, in our mountainous region, internet outages and damaged lines do occur that we have no control over.  We will make every effort to fix internet service on our end but we will not be held liable or give refunds for internet outages.

​

Compensation for maintenance issues:  Should there be any maintenance issues in the room, please let hotel know immediately. We will try to fix it right away. If we can not fix it, we will either offer you a change of room if available, a discount on your stay, or complimentary meal. We will not give any refunds unless the room is unusable and you wish to check out.

 

Noise: Guests are expected to respect the peace and privacy of other guests. Any behavior that disturbs the peace or causes a disturbance may result in immediate eviction from the hotel without a refund.

 

Pets: Pets are not allowed on the hotel premises.

 

Payment: We require 100% advance payment to confirm and guarantee your booking.  All other charges, taxes, and incidental expenses must be paid in full upon check-out. We only accept major credit cards, bank transfers and cash.

 

Minimum Age: Our minimum age to book a reservation and check-in is 21 years old.

 

Safety and Security: We take the safety and security of our guests very seriously. The hotel is equipped with surveillance cameras, and all public areas are regularly patrolled by security personnel. However, guests are advised to keep their valuables secure and use the in-room safe for their convenience.

 

Drone Usage:  For the safety and privacy of our guests, use of drones on property for any reason is strictly prohibited.

 

Weapons:  Weapons are strictly prohibited in guest rooms and to be carried on the property.  Any weapons need to be kept locked in your car.

 

Food & Drink:  Outside food is not allowed on resort premises.  No cooking is allowed in resort rooms.

 

Storage:  Subject to availability of storage space, guests can store luggage in the Luggage Room.  Luggage may not be stored more than a period of 14 days. Management will not be responsible for any loss or damage to belongings placed in storage.

 

Reservation Policy: A valid credit card is required to make a reservation. The credit card will be charged for the full payment at the time of booking.
